Greek Islands: Agistri
Agistri (also Angistri) is one of the Saronic Islands and is close to Athens. This makes it popular with day trippers yet it has retained its charm and small quiet atmosphere.
There are just three villages on Agistri. Milos and Skala, on one side of the island and Limenaria on the other. Our reviewer only had time to visit Skala, which was full of bars and tavernas and packed with Greeks. The atmosphere was described as rowdy but very good natured and "the most fun weekend to be had in Greece!"

5 days too much
Unfortunatly there are better islands to visit..i am very particular on food when i vacation and this island has no love for it. The amount of money i spent trying to relax was incongruent with the value i recieved. Make sure to rent a motorbike or car due to the unorganised monopoly of taxi's and buses.I would highly suggest to free camp because its cleaner there and more civilised, plus you dont end up wasting your money trying to find where is the greek in the island. And always ask for receipts

On the bright side
Harison's review is honest, and yes, there are more 'authentic' islands than Agistri. However, the location means if you only have a day out from Athens, this island shouldn't be dismissed out of hand. Shame he feels ripped off. Take his advice and think carefully about what and where you open your wallet for.
